Our Aim

To encourage, active participation, by those socially excluded, in activities that will have a positive impact on their health and well-being, using a community development approach.

New Venue

SEAL have moved into the St Frances Centre, Gorbals, run by Glasgow Life. This is a purpose built community venue which has disabled access on all floors. The SEAL office and therapy room are on the ground floor. Groups i.e. Winning for Women, Health Issues in the Community, Girls on the Go, Yoga, cooking classes are run regularly in St.Francis Centre and in venues across South Glasgow for those who feel isolated or excluded. The building has a wide range of spaces and rooms that can be used for many other types of meetings and groups, including access to the kitchen for healthy cookery classes.

Have fun with food using the smoothie makers, blenders and other kitchen equipment. We have exercise classes, mats, and bands. We offer complimentary treatments with therapy beds, chairs, table top therapy stations and much more for community use. Drama groups for those interested in exploring health issues are often available for people of all ages and ability, to build confidence and raise self esteem.
