Fruit Barras

This service is run by volunteers and staff to bring fresh fruit and vegetables at cost price to the heart of the communities across Glasgow South. Come along, see for yourself, and spread the word!

There are six Fruit Barras each week in different venues across the Gorbals and Castlemilk, and anyone from South Glasgow is welcome. If you have a nursery or organisation, or are simply too frail or unable to get out and about to reach the Fruit Barras, get in touch, we deliver!

In this current difficult economic climate the Fruit Barras are a vital resource for many. We even get involved with showing you great recipes for economical, tasty meals that are packed with nutrition.
